The perforator is generally delivered in a basic design without mechanical protection against accidents. It is an incomplete piece of machinery and therefore cannot be operated separately as stand-alone equipment. It must be equipped with the appropriate safety elements according to the final requirements and possibilities of the customer. It is intended for use as part of a technological line.

The device is used for perforating PET bottles and other hollow packages prior to their subsequent processing, e.g. pressing. Perforating bottles allows their volume to be minimized, thus achieving even more effective compression.
